Thy Fragrance

Thy fragrance was luckily with me quite long,
As mom's touch to babe it's sweetened my heart;
The Nectar was thy love, which washed all wrong,
It's past belief: what efforts on my part?

That bloom of bliss waned with a trip of time,
Like a musk deer, I searched - "Where it went?"
I tried path this and that but missed thy rhyme;
Some cheer here and there, but, all like home on rent.

By thy shine on my soul the dark did clear
When I stayed heedful like a pregnant girl
And dropped all Hows and Buts. Now, have no fear.
Lo, thou'rt here, behind the veil of brain-whirl!

Brings joyous tears this eye-giving meet;
In gratitude, I lay these lines at thy feet.
